On Monday, two gray pit bulls attacked a family dog that was walking with its owners in Meyerland Park. A husband and wife were walking their dog and pushing their young child in a stroller when the dogs attacked.

Common carriers transport passengers and goods for compensation, so they are required to practice a higher standard of care than an ordinary driver transporting himself or a friend.
Jessica Strawn was attacked by two pit bulls that escaped underneath a fence adjacent to a neighborhood park in Spring, Texas. According to witnesses, the dogs escaped on several occasions prior to January 2015. The HOA failed to provide any citations to the dog owners for the hole underneath the fence or warn residents about the danger.
