On Monday, two gray pit bulls attacked a family dog that was walking with its owners in Meyerland Park. A husband and wife were walking their dog and pushing their young child in a stroller when the dogs attacked. The mother tried to fend off the dogs with a scooter. Luckily, a person nearby chased the dogs off with an SUV. The dogs later attacked another dog a short distance away that was walking with its owner.
In the second attack, the pit bulls bit the dog. The owner managed to rescue his dog but not without puncture wounds to both hands. Police have not been able to locate the two pit bulls to date. Hopefully they are found before they inflict serious injury to another dog or human being.
